2021 Student of the Year Award Recipients
Students from the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Legal Education Opportunities (LEO) program have recently announced student of the year award recipients.
The LEO program is comprised of five constituent organizations:
- Asian Law Student Association (ALSA)
- Black Law Students Association (BLSA)
- Indigenous Law Student Association (ILSA)
- Latino/a Law Student Association (LLSA)
- Middle Eastern Law Students Association (MELSA)
Every year, each of the five LEO groups present student of the year awards, typically at the annual LEO Banquet. While the pandemic prevented an in-person gathering, a series of virtual events were held to celebrate the LEO program this year. Additionally, to honor the students of the year, each group created videos to share why each recipient was selected.
