It's November, exams are approaching, and you may be behind in your studying. If you need help deciding how to use your time efficiently, consider looking at exams from the previous years. By seeing what you are asked to do on the exam, you can better determine what preparation will be most useful and what preparation you may be able to cut if you are short on time. You can get individual help from the IIS on any writing task related to law, including, • Exam answers • Course outlines • Seminar papers • Law review articles • Bench memos • Work-related writing • Resumes • Writing samples • Cover letters • Thank you letters • Grammar questions • Efficiency • Drafting legal documents, such as contracts, jury instructions, complaints, motions, opinion letters, etc. To reserve a session for these or any topics, sign up at room 2378 in the library. If you cannot come to the room, e-mail mbray@wisc.edu, telling her all the times you are available.
