Biography
Carrie (Carolyn) Doyle oversees the ordering of law library materials and resources, the processing of invoices, and the processing, binding and claiming of monographs, periodicals and legal continuations.
Carrie started work as the Head of Acquisitions and Serials Librarian in November 2011. She had previously been employed at the UW Law Library from 2000 to 2006 as a cataloging assistant. Between stints at the UW Law Library she worked as a circulation assistant at UW-Whitewater, corporate librarian at Georgia-Pacific's research facility in Neenah, Wisconsin, and librarian at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Library.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys listening to Brewers, Badgers, and Packers broadcasts on the radio, being outdoors, reading the New Yorker, and listening to bluegrass music.
Activities
Kris Turner and Carrie Doyle will both serve on the Wisconsin Library Association (WLA) 2022 Board. Turner will serve as President-Elect and Doyle will serve as WLA Board Liaison representing the Association of Wisconsin Special Librarians (AWSL). The Wisconsin Library Association is a professional organization representing all types of libraries. Its membership comprises more than 1,400 librarians and support staff, library trustees, friends of libraries, and business vendors who advocate and work for the improvement of library services for all Wisconsin citizens.
