Biography
Derek is a Senior Staff Attorney with the State Democracy Research Initiative, where his research focuses on elections, direct democracy, and separation of powers issues. He previously worked at a private election law practice in Columbus, Ohio.
Derek earned his BA in Middle East studies and political science and his JD from the Ohio State University.
