Biography

Gabrielle Rejouis is the 2026-28 William H. Hastie Fellow. Before joining University of Wisconsin Law School, she researched the intersection of race, labor, and technology at the Workers’ Rights Institute at Georgetown Law. Rejouis developed Color Of Change’s (COC) federal antitrust and tech policy portfolio as a senior policy manager, leading both lobbying and member education. Her work at COC is best captured in the Black Tech Agenda policy document, the Being Black Online animated explainer video series, and her “Black Feminist Antitrust for a Safer Internet” essay in the Feminist Cyberlaw volume.

Rejouis’s work at COC informed her self-developed course, “Competition and Regulation in Tech,” which she taught as an adjunct in Georgetown University’s Communication, Culture and Technology Master’s program. After law school, she advocated for anti-discrimination language in consumer privacy and algorithmic accountability policies and researched worker surveillance at the Center on Privacy & Technology. Her scholarship is on Labor & Employment Law, Law & Technology, and Legislation & Regulation and draws from her career. Rejouis earned her J.D. from Georgetown Law. She earned her B.A. in History from the New Jersey Institute of Technology where she was an Albert Dorman Honors Scholar.
