Biography
Mary Ann Polewski is the Administrative Director of the Legal Analysis, Advocacy, and Writing Program. Since graduating from the UW Law School in 1981, she has held several positions in the program. She was the full-time Director of the LAAW Program for eight years. Since she began working part time, she has also held the positions of Assistant Director, Program and Scheduling Coordinator, and Advisor for the Citation Curriculum.
Ms. Polewski currently performs numerous administrative and curricular duties for the LAAW Program. She also prepares curriculum materials about legal citation for the fall and spring LAAW courses.
When she was Director of the LAAW Program, Ms. Polewski co-taught Methods for Teaching Legal Writing, the three-credit teaching assistant training course. She also taught Advanced Legal Writing for many years.
