B.A. (English; Chinese), UC Berkeley
Myra began working at UW Law School in late 2019, shortly after finishing graduate studies and moving to Madison. She is a member of the Business Office team and provides administrative support to tenured/tenure-track and emeritus faculty in research and instruction. She also assists with events and operations for JD Grants, the East Asian Legal Studies Center, and other units of the Law School.
Before life in Madison, Myra has studied and worked in San Francisco, New York, China, Japan, and the UK, specializing in modern Chinese literature and culture as well as language pedagogy. She enjoys learning about the legal field through the broad scope of her current work, with a special interest in interdisciplinary scholarship spanning law, science, history, and literature.
Outside of work, Myra is a fan of board games, martial arts novels, lakes and parks (especially dog-friendly ones), and fantasy football. She also has a love-hate relationship with disc golf and running.
