Biography

Zayra began her career with the University of Wisconsin Foundation in the fall of 2022 and served as a Donor Experience Officer for the School of Education and the College of Agricultural Life Sciences. She joined the UW Law School the summer of 2024 and now serves as an Associate Director of Development.

Zayra enjoys building authentic relationships with alumni and friends of the university and helping them achieve their philanthropic goals.

Originally born in Chihuahua Mexico, Zayra moved to Kansas City where her passion for people (and barbeque) flourished. She loves to read and enjoy nature and on any given weekend you’ll find her hammocking in town with her two fur babies, Echo, and Chico.
