Nina Varsava, assistant professor of law at University of Wisconsin Law School, was awarded the Association of American Law Schools' (AALS) Jurisprudence Future Promise Award at the AALS Annual Meeting last month. The award is given annually by the Section on Jurisprudence to recognize the research accomplishments of junior scholars working in the area of jurisprudence and philosophy of law.
"As an early-career scholar, it's wonderful to have my research recognized by AALS's Jurisprudence Section," said Varsava. "I've benefitted from the support of Jurisprudence section members in a variety of ways since I started out as a tenure-track faculty member, and I'm honored to receive this award from them and excited to continue my work in jurisprudence."
