The trial of Darrell Brooks, accused of killing six and injuring more than 60 last November by driving through a holiday parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, attracted national attention because Brooks chose to defend himself just days before proceedings began Monday, Oct. 3, 2022. He also withdrew his insanity plea only a few weeks beforehand.

Experts from University of Wisconsin Law School have provided commentary and insights during the trial, which became so disruptive that the judge has moved Brooks to a separate courtroom to participate virtually. Below is a listing of UW Law experts and associated media coverage.
