Looking for legal information on India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka?
Visit the law library's new Research Guide on South Asian digital resources.
The purpose of the Guide is to provide links to those sites which
contain or serve as
gateways to primary (cases, statutes, etc) or secondary (law journals,
reports, etc)
legal materials, rather than to sites that provide only
general information.
The majority of the links are
freely accessible. The few subscription databases listed are
noted as such in the abstract.
While some countries, such as Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka have a good amount
of legal content available online, information for nations like Bhutan or The Maldives is still
evolving in terms of depth of content, authenticity, currency, and accuracy.
As such, the Guide to South Asian Law Online will continue to be monitored and updated as new sources emerge.
