National Law Student Mental Health Week is underway, with activities around the Law School to help you take a break and learn about available support. Here are a few highlights (reference to the full schedule is below)!

Stop by the Law Library’s wellness table in the Atrium on Thursday, October 15, from noon–1 p.m. We’ll have treats, a treat bag raffle, and a display of fun and health related items you can borrow from the library, such as ping pong paddles, light therapy lamps, etc. Our Wellness Lightning Session at the same table will introduce you to wellness resources from the library, Law School, and campus.

Other tables in the Atrium will offer information about counseling, financial aid, and additional student support services.

A few other activities to check out:

Also, the library’s wellness spaces are available throughout the semester. Visit the Study and Collaboration Lab (Room 2387) for puzzles, coloring, origami, and Play-Doh. For a quiet moment, try the Quiet Contemplation & Meditation Space (Room 3374)—no reservation needed.

For the full schedule, see Lauren Devine’s October 7 email which went out to all students, with the subject line:  “October 10–15: Law Student Mental Health Week,” and her October 12 update.
