Looking for a quiet place to jump start your reading assignments over the Labor Day weekend? The UW Law Library will be open on Saturday, Sept. 1 -- Sunday, Sept. 2, from noon to 6:00 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 3, from noon to 10:00 p.m.  Reference service will be available on Monday, Sept. 4 when we resume our regular fall schedule.

If you are new to the Law School, be sure to read the Law Library's 1L Survival Guide with a variety of useful tips -- places to study, exam information, technology help and more.  The Law Library also maintains a collection of study guides which are available for check-out at the circulation desk.

And take a quick look at all of the library guides compiled by the reference librarians.  There is something here for everyone including Blue Book Citation, iPad Legal Applications, Resources for Cite-Checkers plus guides that relate to law school courses such as Bankruptcy, Criminal Law, Securities Law and many others.
