HeinOnline recently unveiled World Constitutions Illustrated (WCI), one of the most comprehensive sources for researching the constitutional law of countries around the world.  WCI brings together constitutional texts, related documents, books, articles and other sources, all related to the study of world constitutions and constitutional history.

WCI includes current and historical constitutions in the original language, along with multiple English translations where available.  The database is searchable, and it is possible to do a cross constitutional comparison of particular ideas or concepts.

Constitutional documents are listed in reverse chronological order, with the goal of creating a historical timeline. Each country also includes links to various secondary sources, allowing you to dig deeper into the law of one or more countries.

WCI is an ongoing project, and HeinOnline plans to add books, articles and commentary over time.
