Arti Walker-Peddakotla presented "The Obfuscation of Surveillance" at the Privacy Law Scholars Conference at UCLA Law on May 30, 2025.  The article proposes a new paradigm of “acquiescence through obfuscation” to describe the mechanisms that private security corporations use to gain municipal officials’ approval towards the enactment of carceral surveillance.
