Members of the Student Bar Association at the University of Wisconsin Law School will be delivering toys to a local daycare center on Wednesday (Dec. 20) as part of their ongoing involvement in the community.

For the past six years, law students have volunteered at the Early Childhood Learning Center, a low-income daycare facility at 833 Hughes Place in Madison. At the holidays, they deliver gifts for children at the facility and have served Thanksgiving dinner there.

The students, who are in the midst of final exams, plan to deliver the toys to the center Wednesday between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. For more information about the event, contact Ruth Robarts, an assistant dean at the law school, at (608) 262-8557 or rrobarts@wisc.edu.
