University of Wisconsin Law School clinical professors John Pray and Keith Findley were awarded the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee's Equal Justice Medal on September 4, 2008, in recognition of "exemplary work with the Wisconsin Innocence Project on behalf of the wrongly convicted."

The medal was presented to Findley and Pray at a luncheon attended by more than 600 lawyers and judges, and featuring a talk by Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin.
