“Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history.”
Now more than ever, it is important for us to celebrate the accomplishments of our Black colleagues this month (and every month!). The Law Library has created a webpage of info about important Black legal scholars, lawyers, and others in the legal community. (This list is non-exhaustive; for example, also see this news article about our own Prof. Linda Greene being named the new Dean at MSU Law or the oral history with former Dean of the Law School Daniel Bernstine with former Dean of the Law School Daniel Bernstine.)
