Biography
Jeff works in the UW Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic supervising students' representation of startup businesses and manages the Rural Entrepreneurship Program. He leads the Clinic's initiatives in food and beverage, agriculture, and public policy. He occassionaly teaches Trademark Law and Introduction to Intellectual Property.
Jeff writes and speaks frequently on issues facing startups in rural communities, cooperatives, alcohol and cannabis/cbd, food and beverage, agriculture, content creation, data privacy, cryptocurrency and blockchain, and technology in the law. He is likely available for your next birthday party.
Jeff began his career as a web application and software developer in multiple Fortune 500 companies where he developed some of the first corporate intranets and internet-enabled business processes. Since then he has also worked in private practice, started multiple companies, and sits on a number of community and company boards. He is active in government as a County Supervisor for Dane County.

Activities
Jeff Glazer, Tami Patel and Charles von Simson presented “In Your Corner: Starting and Running Your Hustle,” in August 2020, in partnership with Urban Triage, Freedom, Inc., and our Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic. UW Law student Miranda Salazar helped coordinate the event, which was geared toward supporting Black entrepreneurship and businesses.
Jeff Glazer presented a virtual Lunch & Learn, "Legal Advice for Startups," in May. The event was part of a series for small businesses in the Chippewa Valley of Wisconsin.
Jeff Glazer was a co-presenter for “Ethics of Lawyering in a Digital World,” UW Law's January 2020 CLE workshop. Organized by the Law School's Office of Continuing Legal Education, the annual event is free to Wisconsin attorneys.
