About the Clinic
The Law & Entrepreneurship (L&E) Clinic provides free legal services to nascent entrepreneurs and early-stage companies through the work of law students supervised by faculty who are licensed attorneys. Since the creation of the L&E Clinic, we have helped thousands of founders, creators and inventors start innovative businesses.
Our clients come from all over Wisconsin. We provide services to UW campus entrepreneurs as a spoke of the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Hub. We also provide services to entrepreneurs working in rural areas of the State in partnership with Small Business Development Centers from Ashland to Beloit and everywhere in between.
Today, we are known throughout the entrepreneurial ecosystems of Wisconsin for providing free legal services to promising, innovative early state companies.
