Michele LaVigne's book, "The Wisconsin Bail Manual" (co-authored with Bonnie Hoffman and Renee Spence), was published in November. The project was funded by a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance as part of a nationwide campaign to improve the quality of pretrial justice.
Alta Charo has been named to the Standing Committee on Aerospace Medicine and the Medicine of Extreme Environments at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. It meets with NASA staff to discuss issues such as hazardous exposures, health risks and ethical issues faced in short and long-term exploration spaceflight.
Sumudu Atapattu's article, "The Inter-American Court’s Environment and Human Rights Advisory Opinion: Implications for International Climate Law," was published in the most recent issue of Climate Law.
