5.01 General Requirement
All students must attend classes regularly.
5.02 Penalty
If a student fails to comply with the foregoing provision the student's final grade in the course may be lowered at the discretion of the instructor, or if attendance in a course for which no regular letter grade is given (e.g., a mandatory pass-fail course) should be unsatisfactory, the student may be denied credit.
5.03 Seating Assignments
Students must take the seats assigned to them. An instructor is entitled to consider a student absent if the student does not occupy the seat assigned to him or her.
