Meet Lori Hickman
Lori Hickman (she/her) serves as the Director for Scholarship Administration and Recruitment in the Law School Office of Admissions and Financial Aid. She began her career at the Law School in 2020. Lori serves as a resource for students with questions regarding budgeting, financial aid, scholarships, and student loan repayment.
"I love having the opportunity to meet students who are just beginning their law school journey and learn about what drives them to pursue a legal education and what they hope to accomplish with a law degree. In my financial aid advising role, I enjoy helping students navigate the ins and outs of financing law school and caring for their financial wellness so that their financial choices during law school will not limit their post-graduate options."

Meet Michelle Preston
Michelle Preston (she/her) joined the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid in April 2020 as the Assistant Director of Admissions Operations. Prior to joining Admissions, Michelle worked in the Law School's Research Centers for five years where she coordinated events and worked with faculty to support the Law School's research mission.
"I love connecting with prospective students from all different backgrounds and having the opportunity to demystify the application process. The cherry on top is when I see those students walk across the stage at graduation - forming bonds with these students and watching them grow from applicant to matriculant to graduate is so rewarding!"

Meet Christina Bowley
Christina Bowley (she/her) joined the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid in March 2023 as the Assistant Director of Admissions. In her role, Christina works with prospective students to discuss their interest in the Law School and to support UW Law’s mission of bringing students with diverse experiences and qualifications to our community.

Meet Erin Chuzles
Erin Chuzles (she/her) joined the Law School in January 2022. She currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer and Office of Admissions & Financial Aid. In her role, Erin supports CAO Rebecca Scheller and her work leading the business services office and the overall enrollment enterprise. Additionally, Erin manages the daily operations of the admissions office, as well as executes the logistics and planning of some of our largest recruiting events, including Admitted Students Day and the Wisconsin Pre-Law Diversity Conference & Law Fair.
"I am always grateful for the opportunity to make a personal connection with a student, learn about their background and what drives them, and then be witness to their unique law school journey. In terms of my event planning role, I love being able to create in-person experiences for prospective students that really showcase what UW Law has to offer. Watching a prospective student leave an event with a new sense of excitement for their potential future here at UW Law is what makes my job fun and rewarding."

Heidi serves as resource for students with questions regarding budgeting, financial aid, scholarships, and student loan repayment.

Meet Abigail Rubeor
Abigail Rubeor joined the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid in July 2023 as the Assistant Director of Scholarship Administration and Recruitment. Before joining Admissions, Abigail earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She served on the editorial board of the Wisconsin Law Review and gained clinical law experience in the Restorative Justice Project. After graduation, Abigail was an associate attorney at Spencer Law Offices, P.C., a personal injury firm located in Chicago, Illinois.
"It is extremely rewarding to be a resource for students throughout the exciting, albeit sometimes intimidating, process of applying, attending, and ultimately graduating from law school. As a proud alumna of UW Law, I love sharing my experiences both inside and outside the classroom with prospective students. Meet Assistant Dean Smith
Jason (He/him/his) has been advising and supporting students in the Law School’s Graduate Programs Office since 2011, first as a Graduate Programs Coordinator, and currently, as the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs. During his time at the University of Wisconsin Law School, Jason has had the opportunity to travel internationally, and work with students and scholars from over 40 different countries. For those who are interested in joining our community, Jason hopes to make the transition to life in Madison as smooth as possible, and help our students and scholars achieve their goals.

Meet Monique Lu
Monique (She/her/hers) Lu is the Assistant Director for Graduate Programs at UW Law School. She manages admissions operations and advises students on graduate and non-degree programs. Prior to UW Law School, she supported the Visiting International Student Program (VISP) in program development and programmatic planning for summer thematic programs. She also managed the Summer Term early start program International Student Summer Institute (ISSI) at UW-Madison.
