About This Event

The Institute for Legal Studies is pleased to announce the 10th Midwest Law and Society Retreat to be held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on November 12-13, 2021 (rescheduled from 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic). This biennial interdisciplinary retreat brings together faculty and graduate students from the region's diverse social science and law programs for a weekend of intellectual exchange and community building. The 2021 Retreat will offer opportunities for participants to receive feedback on works-in-progress, discuss research methods and professional issues, and develop future projects with colleagues in the region. Participants are encouraged to submit proposals on topics relating to law and society or to just attend the Retreat to join in the discussion.

Advanced registration is required. This is a hybrid event. In-person attendance is subject to university health and safety guidelines.
