About This Event
When: October 19-20
Where: University of Wisconsin Law School
Corporate law and corporate governance have been in the spotlight of public and regulatory attention. Questions regarding dual class shares, board structure and composition, the role of institutional investors in promising social cause, the growing regulatory intervention by the SEC, and recent Delaware cases are indicative of a larger underlying shift in the contours and direction of corporate America. This conference will explore the present and future of corporate law and corporate governance through these recent debates.
The conference is hosted by Professor Yaron Nili and is sponsored by the Institute for Legal Studies at the University of Wisconsin Law School.
